After a String of Restaurant-Oriented Hits, Gordon Ramsay’s New Show Will Take On Another Industry

Fox has picked up another Gordon Ramsay television program, and for a change he won’t be taking on the restaurant business, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The show, "Hotel Hell," is described as similar to Ramsay’s "Kitchen Nightmares," but with a focus on the hotel and motel industry, the story says. Ramsay and a team of experts will assess American lodgings and try to turn around the worst of them — those in need of serious improvements in cleanliness, service and staff.

Ramsay said in a statement, "These are stories that everyone can relate to, because virtually all of us have had a bad hotel experience that’s turned a holiday or business trip into a total disaster. It’s time to put the hospitality industry to the test.”

Fox has already found a winning formula with Ramsay’s other shows, "Kitchen Nightmares," "Hell’s Kitchen" and "MasterChef." "Hotel Hell" — that’s the title for now — will be produced by One Potato Two Potato Inc., Ramsay’s production company.
