A bidding war has ended for a multicamera comedy executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres and starring her spouse, actress Portia de Rossi, reports Deadline.com.

The project has landed at NBC with a put pilot commitment. The show will feature de Rossi as one of a pair of feuding sisters, the story says.

It’s the first sale for DeGeneres’ A Very Good Production, her Warner Bros. TV-based production company, the article adds.

The project will be written by "Samantha Who?" co-creator and executive producer Don Todd.
