A contractor to the stars is positioning himself to become a star in his own right with the debut of DIY’s reality show "Million Dollar Contractor," reports the New York Post.

Stephen Fanuka has renovated Lindsay Lohan’s two-bedroom condo in New York City, and worked with Tina Knowles on a 90-day makeover of Beyonce’s apartment in Manhattan, the story says. His star clients include Tony Bennett, Michael J. Fox and Tina Fey.

“People say, they are rich, they must be pr–ks. It’s not true,” Fanuka said. “Everybody is going to be able to relate to the show. There’s a wow factor, and there’s a bit of a how factor."
