One network broadcast dominated Sunday night’s ratings, according to early figures, racking up the best numbers of any show so far in fall 2011’s premiere week, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The big show was NBC’s “Sunday Night Football,” which earned a 13.2 household rating in metered markets for the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts — up 2% from the premiere week broadcast a year ago.

Football also gave NBC a win for prime time overall with a 9.9 household rating, topping CBS (7.9), Fox (6.5) and ABC (6.2).
