The real-life mom of Gwyneth Paltrow will now be the TV mom of another well-known blond actress, TVLine.com reports.

Veteran TV, film and theater star Blythe Danner, best known as Robert De Niro’s wife in the "Focker" films — and as the real-life mom of Oscar winner Paltrow — will play the mother of Christina Applegate’s character on NBC’s new sitcom "Up All Night," according to the report.

The role is likely to be a recurring one, especially in light of this week’s strong debut numbers for the show on Wednesday night.

Danner has recently racked up two Emmy wins for her role on Showtime’s "Huff," and was also seen as one of Peter Facinelli’s two lesbian moms on "Nurse Jackie."
