The highest-rated broadcast network on Labor Day in total viewers and among people 18 to 49 years old was the Spanish-language network Univision, as viewing was generally low among English-language broadcasters, reports The New York Times’ ArtsBeat blog.
Univision averaged 5.6 million viewers Monday night, with people tuning in for the three-hour finale of "Pequenos Gigantes," or "Little Giants," a talent competition featuring children, the story notes.
Fox placed second in the 18-to-49 demographic, with "Hell’s Kitchen" dropping 10% from last week’s summer high, the story adds. In total viewers, “Hell’s Kitchen” averaged 5.8 million for the 9 p.m. hour.
