Levi Johnston appeared on "The Wendy Williams Show" and said Bristol Palin wanted to get pregnant because she was jealous of her mom, former vice presidential candidate and reality TV star Sarah Palin, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Sarah had Trig and that really sparked [Bristol] to have a child,” Johnston said. “We previously talked about it, but that’s what really got her going on it.” He added, “She was really jealous, and that’s what sparked us to have a child," the story says.

Johnston, who is publicizing his book “Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin’s Crosshairs,” added that he thinks he would still be with Bristol, but the media circus surrounding the Palin family helped derail the relationship.
