After allegedly getting into a physical altercation with a neighbor over laundry, an "NCIS" actor was arrested Thursday in Los Angeles, reports TMZ.com.

The neighbor was reportedly hanging towels outside when David Fisher, who plays Trent Kort on the CBS program, confronted him about it, the story says. The argument reportedly turned physical, with the neighbor alleging that Fisher choked him before he managed to escape and call 911.

Police arrested Fisher on suspicion of felony battery. The neighbor went to the hospital, while Fisher was booked into jail with bail set at $50,000, the story reports.

Fisher is a veteran TV actor whose credits also include "24," "Burn Notice," "Medium" and "Stargate: Atlantis."
