"Jericho" co-creator Jonathan E. Steinberg has sold a drama project called "Legacy" to CBS, reports Deadline.com.
The project, which comes from DreamWorks TV and writer James Frey’s book-packaging firm Full Fathom Five, has a script commitment plus penalty from CBS, the story says.
The project is about a one-term president who goes back to work at his law firm, picking cases that interest him, the story reports. The idea was generated by Frey’s company, which tends to focus on young-adult fiction, the article notes.
Steinberg also has an updated version of “Beauty and the Beast” in development at ABC Studios, the story notes.
