Oscar Winner Gwyneth Paltrow Wins Her First Emmy for Her Guest Performance on ‘Glee.’ Big Network Winner at Creative Arts Emmys Is HBO. We Have Complete List of Creative Arts Emmy Winners.

Gwyneth Paltrow won her first Emmy Satruday night, Sept. 10, 2011, as she won the award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for performing in "Glee" this past season..

The award was part of the Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Awards presentation, which was held 8 days prior to the Primetime Emmys ceremony this coming Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011.

Rounding out the guest performance category were winners Justin Timberlake (Comedy–"SNL"), Loretta Devine (Drama–"Grey’s Anatomy"). and Paul McCrane (Drama–"Harry’s Law").

Outstanding Reality Program was Discovery Channel’s "Deadliest Catch." 

For the fourth year in a row  "Survivor’s" Jeff Probst picked up the Emmy for Outstanding Host For a Reality or Reality-Competition Program.

The most acclaimed show for the night was HBO’s "Broadwalk Empire," which pulled down s;even Emmys.

In the battle of the networks, the most Emmys–15–went to HBO. On the broadcast side, No. 1 was PBS, with 10 statuettes, followed by Fox with nine.

ReelzChannel, which is not usually a contender for Emmys, picked up three, thanks to its pick up of the miniseires "The Kennedys," which was originally supposed to air on the History Channel. "The Kennedy’s" awards were in make-up, hairstying and sound mixing.
