A former Playboy model who has carved out a busy career in reality television and on stage has taken out a $1 million insurance policy on her breasts, People magazine reports.
Holly Madison said she took out the policy as protection not just for herself but also for the other people involved in “Peepshow” — the Las Vegas production in which she appears topless.
Madison is quoted in the magazine saying: "I’ve heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, why not?, because if anything happened to my boobs, I’d be out for a few months and I’d probably be out a million dollars. I thought I’d cover my assets."
Madison is known for being a former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner and for appearing on the reality series “The Girls Next Door.” She competed on “Dancing with the Stars” in 2009, and has been on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” “Celebrity Family Feud” and her own E! reality series, “Holly’s World,” among other reality shows.
She has also made appearances on a number of scripted series, such as “Entourage” and “CSI.”
Commenting on the insurance policy and her breasts for People, Madison added: "I think it’s kind of funny. I think they’re getting the credit they deserve. They’re my primary money makers right now."
