"Rules of Engagement" star Patrick Warburton slammed CBS over his show’s new 8 p.m. Saturday time slot on the network’s schedule, reports TVGuide.com.

"The scripts are great and we’re having a lot of fun doing the show, but God knows if anybody’s gonna find us on Saturday night," Warburton told TV Guide at the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen, the story notes. "What a sh– time slot," he said.

The show has delivered solid ratings despite never having a permanent time slot and typically being used as midseason programming, the story says.

"Rules of Engagement" returns on Oct. 8.

Warburton is not optimistic. “This is probably our last year of the show,” he said. “The show does really well in reruns, and if they want to syndicate, they need to get to 100 episodes. So they’re doing that to us.”
