Emmy Award-winning writer and producer Steven Bochco, the man behind ABC’s "NYPD Blue" and NBC’s classic "L.A. Law," has made a new deal with ABC for a drama called "Legal Affairs," reports Deadline.com.

Bochco is working on the project with Jonathan Abrahams, one of his collaborators on the TNT drama "Raising the Bar." The new show is set at a big-time Los Angeles law firm where the lawyers and associates try to balance their work lives and personal affairs with the pressures of the firm.

Besides “NYPD Blue,” Bochco’s history at ABC includes “Philly” and “Commander in Chief.” Additionally, the TNT show “Raising the Bar” was produced by ABC Studios, the story points out.
