TNT announced that it has canceled one of its scripted dramas, reports Entertainment Weekly. The show, which made it through three seasons, is HawthoRNe, a hospital drama starring Jada Pinkett Smith.

In a statement, the cable net said: “TNT truly appreciates the tremendous dedication of everyone involved. The series gave TNT the opportunity to work with many outstanding people, including Jada Pinkett Smith and the rest of the show’s talented cast, crew, producers and writers. We wish everyone involved with HawthoRNe nothing but the best.”

TNT, which is readying for a remake of “Dallas,” has been generally doing well with dramas, the story notes, with “Rizzoli & Isles,” “Falling Skies” and “Franklin & Bash” among the success stories.

  1. I have to say I have never watched Hawthorne or have ever had the inclination to watch it. Yet I tuned into Falling Skies and Franklin & Bash. Think that says it all tbh.
