Nielsen revealed this week that one 15-minute time slot is the most viewed part of prime time.

The research firm said the period from 9:15 to 9:30 p.m. has the biggest audience, with almost 42% of Americans with TV sets tuned in at that time, TVNewsCheck reports.

Among younger adults — age 49 and younger — the top slot is 9:45-10 p.m.
