A television actress who has starred in a string of popular shows has been named the new celebrity face of Botox, People.com reports.
Courtney Thorne-Smith, who has starred on "Melrose Place," "Ally McBeal" and "According to Jim," says she likes using the treatment — a cosmetic injection that helps smooth out wrinkles — the story says.
"It’s never been a secret in my personal life — I’ve just never been asked by the press," Thorne-Smith, 44, said. She added that it "works well for me."
The actress said she started getting injections about 10 years ago, when lines on her forehead started to bother her.
