After a little more than two months of marriage, Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries, E! Online reports.
Kardashian did not provide a formal reason, according to the story, but did cite “irreconcilable differences.”
In a statement today, Kardashian said: "After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."
The couple got married Aug. 20.
