CBS announced in a tweet that it has picked up one of its freshman sitcoms for a full-season order, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“2 Broke Girls,” which has been performing well as the lead-out to “Two and a Half Men,” got the order. The pickup follows similar good news for Fox’s “New Girl” and NBC’s “Up All Night” and “Whitney.”

“2 Broke Girls,” a multicamera comedy starring Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings, premiered with a whopping 7.1 rating in adults 18-49 and 19.4 million viewers when it followed the widely anticipated debut of Ashton Kutcher in “Men.” The show has since come back to earth, dropping to a 4.5 average in 18-49 in its second week and holding steady in week three, the story notes.

  1. It’s Beth Behrs, not Beers, you dummy.

  2. And it only led out of Two and a Half Men once…for it’s premiere. It follows How I Met Your Mother at 8:30e now.

  3. “You dummy”? Seriously? Grow the F#%$ up!
