Production of a Cinemax show is on hiatus for at least two weeks following an injury on the set, Deadline.com reports.

Chris Vance, the star of Cinemax’s "Transporter," was hurt during the taping of an action sequence, causing the production to be suspended, the story says.

“We want to ensure Chris’ return to peak physical condition before putting him back in front of the camera to continue shooting this fast-paced, action-packed series,” said Steve Shill, the program’s executive producer and showrunner.

The show is based on Luc Besson’s "Transporter" films, with Vance playing professional transporter Frank Martin, the piece notes.

Production on the series, taking place in Toronto, had been scheduled to continue through November on the show’s 12-episode order, the story adds.
