A graphic autopsy photo of Michael Jackson was introduced Tuesday during the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray in connection with the singer’s death, and CNN initially opted not to show the photo, TVNewser.com reports.

Jackson’s friend and former attorney Mark Geragos applauded the network for its decision. Geragos, who was appearing on CNN’s "AC360" on Tuesday evening, noted, “It’s inexplicable to me why that’s being played by other networks.” CNN anchor John King. who was sitting in for the show, responded by telling him, "We’re not going to show it. We have some standards," the story says.

But on Wednesday Brooke Baldwin introduced the photo in a segment airing on CNN during the afternoon, the piece points out. Baldwin gave viewers a warning before the photo was aired for 11 seconds, the story adds, calling the image both "graphic" and "disturbing," according to the piece.

CNN didn’t use the photo again during a segment in which the autopsy photo was discussed, the story adds.
