With the stars of "Mythbusters" hosting, Discovery will air a new Steve Jobs documentary this weekend, reports Entertainment Weekly.
"Mythbusters’" Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage will host the one-hour documentary on the Apple founder, who died Oct. 5, the story reports.
"iGenius: How Steve Jobs Changed the World," from NBC’s Peacock Productions, will air Sunday, Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. ET on Discovery.
“Someone once said that to follow the path that others have laid before you is a very reasonable course of action, therefore all progress is made by unreasonable men. Steve Jobs was an unreasonable man,” said Savage. “He didn’t simply give the public what they wanted, he defined entirely new ways of thinking about our lives in the digital space: productivity, creativity, music, communication, media and art. He has touched, directly and indirectly, all of our lives.”
Among those slated to appear in the show are musicians Stevie Wonder and Pete Wentz — talking about Jobs’ influence on their careers — as well as many of the people who knew Jobs at the start of his career.
