An editor who worked on the TLC show “Jon & Kate Plus Eight” has been arrested on child pornography charges, TheWrap.com reports, citing documents obtained by RadarOnline.

William Blankinship, 56, has also edited TLC’s “Kate Plus 8,” “17 Kids and Counting” and “Table for 12.” He was arrested Oct. 21 in North Carolina in an FBI sting, the story reports. He is reportedly a subcontractor for Figure 8 Films.

Blankinship remained in custody and was reportedly charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Figure 8 released a statement saying: "Bill Blankinship was employed by Serious Robots, with whom Figure 8 Films subcontract for editing services. Upon learning of the shocking allegations his employment was terminated. At no time was this man ever in the field or in direct contact with any of the talent for any of our productions."

“Jon & Kate’s” Jon Gosselin has expressed his unhappiness with having his children on a reality show, saying in 2009: "I put my kids out there to every pedophile on the planet and they never got paid for it."
