Two teams that have created TV magic in the past are hoping that lightning will strike once again.

"Almost 2 decades after they created ABC’s groundbreaking cop drama ‘NYPD Blue,’ Steven Bochco and David Milch have reunited to create a new drama series, this time for NBC," writes our good friend Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com,

The show will be a legal drama, the story says, that "is set inside DC’s hottest law firm, Tapman Rose, which boasts a perfect record of billion-dollar settlements. It centers on Ted Tapman, a charismatic “rainmaker” lawyer with a dark secret."

The show will come from Imagine TV and 20th Century Fox TV.

Another veteran team, Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick, who created "thirtysomething" back in 1987, have sold "an adaptation of Richard Murphy’s novel Confessions Of A Contractor, which has landed a script commitment plus penalty at Fox, with ‘Chaos’ creator Tom Spezialy writing," Andreeva writes in a separate article.

This article goes on to say, "Confessions of a Contractor is described as a soap about the combustible mix that results when you blend desire, jealousy, and home renovation. Spezialy, Herskovitz and Zwick will executive produce. This [is the] second stab at developing a TV series based on Murphy’s novel. During the 2008-09 season, a drama written by Murphy and executive produced by Shawn Ryan was set up at CBS." The project is from 20th Century Fox TV.
