One of the stars of "The Wayan Bros.," a comedy that ran for five years on the WB in the 1990s, has made a deal with ABC to do a buddy sitcom about two brothers who are cops, reports Deadline.com.

Marlon Wayans will write, star in and be an executive producer on the show, which has one brother down on his luck and moving in with the family of the other brother. Wayans is playing the family man.

The show, a hybrid single-camera/multicamera production, is in development at ABC Studios.
