A comedy about a group of men who meet at a weight-loss clinic has found a network home, ending a long four-way bidding war among ABC, Fox, CBS and NBC, reports Deadline.com.

The sitcom, “Big Men,” has landed at NBC, home of "The Biggest Loser," the story reports.

"Big Men," from Irish actor-comedian Chris O’Dowd and writer-producers Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, received a script commitment plus significant penalty, the story notes.

The project marks O’Dowd’s American writing debut, after starring in the popular U.K. show "The IT Crowd" and appearing in the film "Bridesmaids," the story says. O’Dowd will write the script, with Port and Wiseman serving as showrunners, the piece adds.
