A new fantasy show is coming to television with Starz ordering to series "Da Vinci’s Demons," described as an adventure/historical fantasy piece from the co-writer of "Batman Begins/The Dark Knight," reports TVLine.com.

David S. Goyer, who is also the writer of "Man of Steel," said in statement: “It made a strange kind of sense for me to dive into the facts and legends swirling around [Da Vinci’s] origins.”

The show will start production in 2012 and will debut its eight episodes in 2013, the piece reports. Goyer has previously executive produced and written for TV shows such as "FlashForward," the story notes.
