The new book "Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony" is in the early stages of being developed into a TV movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s the Live Feed blog.

The book focuses on Anthony’s murder trial and the events that led to it, the story says. Anthony was acquitted earlier this year on murder charges related to the death of her 2-year-old daughter.

The project is in the works at Lifetime. The cable channel hasn’t yet greenlighted the film, which would focus on the case from the prosecution’s standpoint, the story says.

The book was written by Jeff Ashton, a member of the team that prosecuted the case.
