CBS has ordered more episodes of a new drama series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The publication reports that the network ordered three additional episodes of “A Gifted Man.”
The show, which stars Patrick Wilson, has averaged 8.4 million viewers and a 1.2 rating with viewers 18 to 49, the story says. It’s the most-watched program in its time slot of 8 p.m. Friday evenings.
It’s not clear yet which show will air in its place once its 16-episode season is over, the story notes.
The scorecard on CBS’s rookie shows is mostly favorable, with the network already giving full-season orders to “2 Broke Girls,” “Person of Interest” and “Unforgettable.” The one exception is “How to Be a Gentleman,” which was canceled early on.
