Ratings results are in for November sweeps, and it’s a split vote, with one network taking the key demo while another network won total viewers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
For the sweeps period of Oct. 28-Nov. 23, Fox won the 18-49 demo with an average 3.1 rating. It was only the second time in the network’s history that it claimed the win, the story reports.
CBS was second with a 2.8 rating, up from 2.7 last year. But CBS won total viewers for the 11th consecutive November sweeps, averaging 11.43 million, up 3% from 2010, the story says.
In adults 18-49, Fox improved 15% from a year ago. ABC came in third with a 2.5 rating, down 4%, and NBC was fourth with a 2.4, equaling its results from a year earlier.
Trailing CBS in total viewers were ABC in second with 9.28 million, Fox in third with 8.64 million and NBC in fourth place with 6.86 million.
