Since leaving the ABC morning talk show "Live with Regis and Kelly" on Nov. 18, Regis Philbin has been working on his next project, which will be a prime-time family talent show, reports the New York Post’s Page Six.

Philbin has created RAF Productions with former "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee" director Barry Glazer, "City Island" executive producer Edward Walson and "Writers Guild Awards" executive producer Cort Cassidy, the article says.

The group is working on a show that is a "a family competition, which is something new in our business. It’s going to be on prime time when it happens," Philbin told the publication. Philbin hosted the first season of NBC’s "America’s Got Talent."

He added that the reason for leaving his morning program was only about business, the article says. "It wasn’t that ABC didn’t try to negotiate with me,” he said. “As it happens in this business, sometimes you don’t really like the terms so you just walk away with that in mind."
