CBS’s "The Talk" has hit a season high in the ratings, not long after the debut of a new lineup for the morning chat show.

The high mark follows the hiring of Aisha Tyler, an actress known for her work on "Friends" and "Ghost Whisperer," reports EW.com’s Inside TV blog.

The show averaged 2.08 million for the week ended Nov. 4, which was a small increase from the same week a year ago, when "The Talk" averaged 2.06 million viewers, the story points out.

Tyler joined the show Oct. 24, and co-hosts with Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood.

The show will tape a week of holiday-themed episodes in New York starting on Dec. 12, the piece adds.
