Warner Bros. Domestic Television announced today that it has appointed a vice president of Affiliate Marketing and Co-Op. The position is going to Judy Mitchell, it was announced by Susan Kantor, executive VP of Marketing for Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
The company said in its announcement: “In her new role, Mitchell will be responsible for the supervision, organization and communication of local station marketing, media and promotion strategies internally and with affiliates, working closely with the sales and WBDTD/Telepictures marketing teams to optimize station performance and enhance the effectiveness of show promotion on a local level.”
Mitchell, a 19-year veteran of CBS, will oversee the affiliate marketing and station relations teams, the company said.
Added Kantor: “Judy comes to us as a veteran affiliate relations executive with vast local television marketing experience along with her well established network of relationships with broadcast groups and television station executives. She will be a terrific addition to the WBDTD Marketing team and to help drive rating success in our local markets while continuing to reinforce our goal of providing excellent client service.”
