What Did Ann Coulter Say — and Who Was She Talking About — That Got Her Censored on MSNBC?

Conservative talking head Ann Coulter was censored during an appearance on MSNBC’s "Morning Joe" on Tuesday, reports TheWrap.com.

Coulter was apparently speaking about former Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain when she apparently referred to the politician as a “douchebag,” the story reports. But instead of the word there was a silent gap in the broadcast.

After saying what she did, Coulter questioned the others about being bleeped, saying, "What did I say?" Joe Scarborough, host of the show, was heard saying during the segment, "Just blur it all out."

Coulter continued on air, saying, "OK, well they got the general drift of that. Consistency is not such a great thing, and especially someone like John McCain, who consistently annoyed conservatives, bragged about annoying conservatives, and would claim he was courageous by attacking conservatives and getting good press in The New York Times."

On Twitter after the broadcast, Scarborough tweeted, "John McCain is a great American hero. All of us on ‘Morning Joe’ thank him for his service to America. He is a great man."

TheWrap was unable to get comments on the incident from either MSNBC or Coulter’s representative.

Here’s the clip:

  1. Since she has never served this country in ANY capacity, other than to help divide it, why in the name of anyones God would people keep inviting this media whore on their shows?

  2. Welcome to the not-so-Golden Age of cable news. Entertainment first; actual news, not so much.

  3. free speech is only free if you agree with the liberals…

  4. or if you agree with Bill O’Reilly on his show…’cuz if you don’t, he cuts off your mike.

  5. Really? If that were true then Fox News wouldn’t exist would it? Their right to free speech would be curbed and no one would ever hear the douchy things they say. Oh, if your statement were only true. But just like Fox news, you are WRONG!
