Why Hefner Insisted on More Nude Photos of Lindsay Lohan

Reports have surfaced about why Lindsay Lohan had to return to Playboy to do an extra round of nude photos — a shoot that had to be carefully scheduled around her court appearances and jail visit.

Playboy boss Hugh Hefner reportedly wasn’t happy with the initial photos of Lohan, reports the New York Post’s Page Six. Lohan apparently looked too much like she was doing a fashion spread, the story notes. Hefner wanted more of a classic Hollywood-style feature, along the lines of a Marilyn Monroe shoot, according to sources.

Lohan did an extended shoot over the weekend, with different lawyers, agents and publicists chiming in over what "nude" meant, the piece adds. Lohan is expected to appear "strategically covered up" in some shots, with the Monroe-like feel to the images, the story says.

She’ll be featured in the magazine’s January/February issue.
