Diane Passage, a former stripper and the fourth wife of imprisoned former money manager Kenneth Starr, has signed on with "Wall Street Wives,” an upcoming reality show, reports The New York Times’ Dealbook blog.
“It just seemed like fun,” she said, commenting on her decision to join the show. “I had heard about it, but I thought it was on the air already.”
She said the show is "a more intellectual ‘Real Housewives,’" and added that she mentioned the show to Starr, from whom she filed for divorce this summer, but he won’t have a say in her participation.
Diane Fleming, the show’s creator, is married to a wealth manager. She recently started working with production company Goldcrest Films and has been talking with several top networks, the piece adds.
Starr was convicted in connection with a Ponzi scheme in which he took more than $30 million from clients. He is currently serving seven and a half years in federal prison, the story notes. His clients included Martin Scorsese and Uma Thurman, the piece adds.
