Anderson Cooper’s daytime talk show has had some behind-the-scenes drama that’s leading to personnel changes, reports the New York Post’s Page Six.
Executive producers Cathy Chermol and Lisa Morin are leaving the show after joining in June, the story says. While Morin left for personal reasons, Chermol reportedly departed after a disagreement with Cooper, the piece adds.
Chermol reportedly told the audience not to hold back emotion during a Nov. 15 episode about the Penn State scandal, instructions that Cooper disagreed with, according to the article. A representative had no comment, the story says.
Terence Noonan, of "Dr. Oz," has joined the show as an executive producer, the story adds.
