Bright House Media Strategies announced today that it has signed deals with Verizon FiOS TV, Comcast Spotlight and Viamedia/Knology that will help regional and national spot television advertisers place ads in the Tampa/St. Petersburg market.
Bright House Media Strategies is the advertising division of Bright House Networks. The company reported: “The Tampa Bay Interconnect (TBI) will reach 100% of ‘wired’ television homes and approximately 80% of Nielsen’s Total TV households in the market. Placement beginning in the first quarter of 2012 is now available from Bright House Media Strategies.”

In its announcement, the company said: “TBI will offer the advertising community one convenient place to buy media inventory on Bright House Networks, Verizon FiOS TV, Comcast Systems and Knology on forty (40) well-known ad-supported cable networks. The agreement creates a simplified operational process by providing one point of contact for planning, placement, and billing so advertisers can easily reach consumers in the 14th largest market in the nation. The Tampa Bay Interconnect will also allow advertisers to make placements into key cable television programs across all four company’s inventories.”
