‘Desperate Housewives’ Star Sells Legal Drama, But Not To ABC

One of the stars of “Desperate Housewives” has sold a one-hour legal drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The project from Eva Longoria, “Vega v. Vega,” was bought by the CW.

The story reports: “’Vega’ will be written and executive produced by Yahlin Chang (‘Pan Am,’ ‘Dirty Sexy Money’). Longoria and ‘Housewives’’ George W. Perkins and Sunta Izzicupo are on board as executive producers, with Elizabeth Bradley attached as a co-executive producer.”

The setup for the show: A successful young female attorney has to go into a practice with her mother, with whom she has had a challenging relationship.
