Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore, who played Rob and Laura Petrie on the CBS sitcom “The Dick Van Dyke Show” in the 1960s, will be reunited on the SAG Awards in January, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Van Dyke will present Moore with SAG’s life achievement award, the story says. The award will honor Moore’s career as well as her humanitarian achievements.
After her run on “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” which aired from 1961 to 1966, Moore played Mary Richards on the long-running “Mary Tyler Moore Show” on CBS in the 1970s. She was nominated for an Oscar in 1981 for “Ordinary People,” and has had 15 Emmy nominations and won six Emmys during her long television career.
