A "Girls Gone Wild" producer was arrested Wednesday at a home in the Hollywood Hills, reports the Los Angeles Times’ L.A. Now blog.

The man, who wasn’t identified, was arrested by LAPD officers on suspicion of filming without a permit, the story reports. He was detained on a misdemeanor charge and released at the production site, the story notes. About 30 people were working on the production when the police arrived.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re ‘Girls Gone Wild’ or Cecil B. DeMille, you need a permit to film,” said LAPD Cmdr. Andy Smith, according to the story.
