An NBC correspondent was arrested after attending a party at the home of the attorney for Jerry Sandusky, who is accused of sexually abusing young boys in the Penn State University scandal, TMZ.com reports.
Jay Gray was reportedly trying to secure an exclusive interview for NBC with Sandusky by attending the party. He was invited to attorney Joe Amendola’s house to watch the New York Giants game Dec. 11 along with reporters from other media outlets.
Gray left the party around midnight and was stopped by a Pennsyvannia State Police officer for an alleged DUI, the story says.
NBC had no comment.
