A children’s talent manager whose clients have appeared on television shows such as Nickelodeon’s "iCarly" and Disney Channel’s "Good Luck Charlie" has been arrested on suspicion of molesting a client, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Martin Weiss was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of committing lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14, the story says, citing the sexual assault unit of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Topanga Division.

Weiss, 47, was accused of sexually assaulting an aspiring singer and musician he had previously represented, the story says. According to the affidavit, the now 18-year-old alleges Weiss molested him over a three-year period from the the age of 11 or 12, the story says.

"The victim said Weiss told him that what they were doing was common practice in the entertainment industry, and if the victim were to tell anyone it would ruin the victim’s career and hurt them both," the affidavit says, according to the story.

Weiss pleaded not guilty to the charges Thursday, and police are seeking help finding whether he victimized other young performers, according to a separate Los Angeles Times story.
