Former Vice President Al Gore, the co-founder of Current TV, appeared Friday at the Television Critics Association press tour and said the cable channel is not for sale, B&C reports.

"No, it’s not true and we’re not for sale," Gore said, responding to a rumors that the network is for sale. "We love what we’re doing."

Asked why Keith Olbermann wasn’t at the panel, which included Current’s other hosts, Cenk Uygur and Jennifer Granholm, Current President David Bohrman said, "Keith is on vacation," which received scoffs from those present in the room, the piece notes.

Bohrman said Olbermann would be leading the network’s election coverage going forward, but didn’t elaborate on the standoff between the host and Current earlier this month, according to the story.
