Daytime Show Dumps Co-Host

A syndicated daytime show is parting ways with one of its co-hosts, saying it wasn’t a good fit, the New York Post reports. "The Doctors" has decided to carry on without former "Biggest Loser" trainer Jillian Michaels, the story says.

Michaels joined the show as a regular in September after leaving the NBC weight-loss program, but she wasn’t the best match given that the rest of "The Doctors" co-hosts are all physicians, the story notes.

“Although it wasn’t the fit we both hoped for … Jillian will always be a part of ‘The Doctors’ family," the show said in a statement. She could still appear on the show as a guest, the piece adds.

  1. Guess who will be back for Biggest Loser 14…

  2. The Biggest Loser needs Jillian as much as Jillian needs the Biggest Loser. One can only hope she returns to her true calling.

  3. This whiner can’t decide what she wants to do, outside of selling you a bunch of chemical supplements. Apparently she wants to “start a family.” All by herself.
