Funny or Die has tapped one of the fixtures of cable news to moderate a spoof Republican debate, reports TVNewser.com.

Former CNN host Larry King was set to moderate the “Yahoo News/Funny or Die Presidential GOP Online Internet Cyber Debate,” scheduled to debut today on the Funny or Die and Yahoo websites.

The candidates will be portrayed by comedians and celebrities, with former "Saturday Night Live" star Horatio Sanz playing Newt Gingrich and boxer Mike Tyson playing Herman Cain, the story says. Patrick Warburton of "Rules of Engagement" will portray Rick Santorum.

King was expected to be the straight man in the debate.
