Kiefer Sutherland, the star of Fox’s hit drama “24,” gave an update on the big-screen adaptation of the show during an appearance at the Television Critics Association press tour, TVLine reports.
Sutherland said he hopes the movie will start filming in late April or early May.
The story reports: “He later added that in terms of time passed since the ‘24’ series finale — at the end of which Jack Bauer went off the grid and bid farewell to Chloe and the CTU team — the movie will be ‘relatively a direct continuation. We’re talking maybe six months from the end of that episode.’”
Sutherland said he movie will cover a 24-hour period of time, along the lines of what the TV series did during the course of a season.
One regular from the show who will reportedly be in the movie is Mary Lynn Rajskub, who plays Chloe.
