With Martha Stewart’s flagship show being taken off the air by Hallmark, the cable network is poised to fill her daytime spot with a new show to be hosted by pop singer Marie Osmond, the New York Post reports.

“The Martha Stewart Show” was canceled by Hallmark earlier this month, as reported previously.

Osmond’s new show will be produced by the Los Angeles production company ATI, the story reports.

A spokesperson for Hallmark said of the move, “While we’re still in discussions with Marie, we’re extremely excited about the prospect of Marie Osmond joining the Hallmark family. We think she’s perfect for our brand and we’ll share more news when we have a deal.”

“Marie,” which is expected to include celebrity chat and cooking segments, is slated to bow in September.
