NBC has tapped a former marketing executive as general manager of the male-skewing G4 network, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Adam Stotsky will replace Neal Tiles and oversee all aspects of the network, from programming to digital operations, the story reports. The management change at G4 comes after the network shed 18% of its prime-time viewers in 2011, according to the article.
Stotsky, who formerly was president of marketing for NBC’s entertainment division, does not have programming experience, the piece points out. Stotsky left NBC in August when he was replaced by former Showtime marketing chief Len Fogge, the piece adds.
