The president and chief operating officer of Starz Entertainment resigned from his post Wednesday, TheWrap reports. The company confirmed the exit of Bill Myers, who was with the network for 10 years.
No reason was given for Myers’ departure.
Myers was promoted to president and COO in 2006 after serving as executive VP and chief financial officer.
The story reports: “Myers, who came to the company in May 2002 following a stint as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of On Command Corporation, had been responsible for Starz’s day-to-day operations, including sales, marketing, programming and engineering.”
Said Chris Albrecht, CEO of Starz: “Bill has contributed greatly in driving Starz’s growth and success. We are enormously grateful for his 10 years of service and wish him well in his future endeavors.”
