Twenty-six years after a high school student in a generation-defining 1980s movie became the idol of millions of teenagers by blowing off school, Ferris Bueller may be returning — but in a Super Bowl ad, reports E! Online.com.
A 10-second clip of Matthew Broderick — who played the title character in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” — shows him in a white robe, pulling apart window curtains to let in the sunlight and saying, "How can I handle work on a day like today?
The clip doesn’t identify what Broderick is hawking, and instead informs YouTube viewers that they have to "stick it out until the Super Bowl, or take a ‘day off’ on Monday and catch the big reveal."
